Bidding Farewell to 2008

Hi Bloggers, It's only few hours left before we're welcoming 2009. Blimey. Time flies really fast. In a blink of an eye, it's already the end of 2008.

I hope, by now, we could all understand when the old folks, parents, lecturers, friends and others said that time is very precious. Something which you cannot buy. Once it is wasted, we're in a loss. A great loss, I must say. So, let's learn how to appreciate the time that we have, our lives as well as the persons around us. I'm glad that this year,2008, has been a wonderful year. I have achieved some of the things that I wanted to do in my life. I had fear in doing things. But alhamdulillah, I managed to overcome my fears =). I agree, life is about challenging yourself. If you're fortunate, you'll achieve something at the end of the day. I thank Allah for giving me the opportunity to live in this mysterious world. I'm hoping that, we'll always get His guidance. Amin. Some of us might have new resolutions to make. All the best with your new resolutions, buddies. As for me, I have few resolutions to make: 1. I dont want to skip classes (like what I did before) 2. I want to learn french! 3. Be more punctual 4. Not to bother very much about others 5. Take my studies seriously 6. Be a better son to my parents, grandson, brother, friend. (senang cite, a better person) 7. Manage my time wisely and efficiently 8. Give more and more love to baby boo 9. To post more entries in my blog

But, I pray that, this world we'll be a better place for everyone of us. No more war between nations. Cruelty. Sadness.

Let's work it out together.

To 2008, I want to bid farewell to you, dearest 2008. Goodbye. It has been a wonderful year to me. (sob sob) 2009, Welcome...and welcome, Happy New Year everyone. Have a splendid new year! (yay) Regards, Hafiq Hasan Basri grown-up-kid

Latest Crave: Meatballs

Hi Bloggers,
Just to let you know, I am always craving for something (like a pregnant lady does...haha). Take this as an example, for the last two semesters, I regularly craved for Big Apple Donuts. It does taste really nice though. But I've had enough of if. (enough as for now)
Even one of my friends said..."Hafiq, you've had too much sugar in your blood. So no more chocolates for you". Haha...can you imagine that?
And now, I'm craving for Meatballs in Ikea, Damansara. Erghhh, it's not that I've never had that before. I ate it few times, but just recently I'm so into it. =) Very tempting... Erggggh....(lapow...lapow...)
There was actually one night, I had a sleepless night just because I didnt get the meatballs as I wished. Hehe...I think I have a growing baby in my tummy, otherwise I will not be craving for it most of the time.
Btw, I just came back from the Law Centre. I had a short conversation with one of the staffs, kak Sharina. I told her about my latest crave. She agreed that the meatball taste really good. So people, what are you waiting for? Jom la pegi ikea...makan meatball ramai2. Hihi. I'm recommending it to you bloggers. Try it. Sedap tau.

Irda's Birthday Bash

Dearest Bloggers,
As i mentioned earlier in the previous entry, i'll be going to the Irda's party. And I did last nite. I went to celebrate Irda's birthday together with Ag. (thanx Ag for the company).
It was held at Bora Asmara, Sungai Penchala Damansara. Well, I really-really like the place. The ambience is nice and the atmospere is awesome. It's a perfect place to dine in as well as to hold a birthday celebration for anyone. (kudos to farid for introducing that place to me)
I and Ag reached the place as early as 7.30 in the evening. We were told by farid (irda's bf) that we were the second and third person to arrive after him.
Phewwwww, we thought that we were late because of the bad traffic in Kepong and Selayang. But thank God, we managed to be there earlier than everybody else (thumbs up to I and Ag...haha).
Later, the other guests started to make their presence. At around 9.10p.m. Irda made her entrance with Farid. Irda looked so stunning in her Pink dress. She wore a fairy wing at her back.
Right after she entered into the room, everyone of us, was standing and singing a birthday song for her. She blushed for a while. And babe, you looked cute when your face got blushed. Hihi.
She was also crowned with a Tiara, so that she will look like a real Princess (sgt comel!)
Not to forget, it was very unfortunate for me that I had to leave early that night. I had to see my sister in Klang.
So at 10 o'clock, I said goodbye to people there. And Irda insisted to walk me to the gate. On our way to the gate, I saw a group of musician. Then i asked her, "babe, do you want me to request for a birthday song specially for you?" She replied "no lah fiqo...no need"
And guess what, our short conversation was being overheard by them. They said to us "of course you can. We will sing for her"
Yay...then, the diners around us were singing for her too (so sweet of them. thanx though.) We were dancing along the music. I enjoyed...really. I hope you enjoyed it too, babe.
Thereupon, I bid farewell to her and shills. Haisssssh, I regret that I had to make early move. Sorry again Irda. You know i love you so much, buddy.
To Irda, Happy 21st Birthday to you. You've been such a wonderful friend to me. Thanx a bunch honey. =)
Love Love Love you more

Irda's Upcoming 21st Birthday Bash: Almost a Fairytale

Hi bloggers,
This time around i wouldnt be talking about myself, but my lovely friend named Irda. I bet some of you might be asking, why should I write about her in my blog? And what about her upcoming birthday celebration?
I certainly have reasons and answers to give. Let me first introduce Irda to you bloggers. She's actually my junior in IIUM. We didnt really talk to each other, until she was selected to be one of the mooters for the International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition 2007. We were in the same team.
Irda in Sweeden
From thereon, I found that apart from having an admirable look, she's also a fun person to be with. She's very caring, loving, kind etc. That's why I love to have Irda as one of my friends. Thanx babe for your presence in my life. I really appreciate our friendship =).
Hurm, so why would I bother to talk about her upcoming 21st birthday bash? Well, babe (Irda), I heard rumours about your big day. And of course you can count on me when it comes to rumours and gossip. Haha...(kudos to my reliable sources)
Well bloggers, these are among the things that I heard about her upcoming birthday. On that day, she will be a Princess. The only living Princess on the earth.
There'll be a grand and sumptuos Birthday Cake (yummy).
She'll definitely receive a lot of gifts. But the most special gift that she'll get on her 21st birthday is a new handbag! So you can start guessing as to the brand. Would it be Channel? Prada? Fendi? Or other desinger labels? (How lucky you are babe)
Before I forget, Irda actually has a Good-looking and Charming boyfriend, Farid. I'm indeed suprised when I heard that Farid will be performing specially for her. Owh dear Princess, I hope you know that you're one of the luckiest creatures in this world.
Irda and Farid
Her 21st upcoming birthday party will be almost like a fairytale. She'll be the Princess just like Cinderella, and her adorable Prince will perform for her that day, just to make sure that she'll be happy all day long. Both the Prince and the Princess will be dancing together happily.
Babe,
I'm sure it will be the unforgettable moment for you! One thing for sure, i'll come and be the witness of your fairytale story.
I cant wait for the day to come!

Another Gay Day: Senior Year

Hi bloggers, i'm glad that my gay days continue since my birthday until today. I'm now in my 4th year of study! I just can't believe the fact that I am now in my final year. That means i'll be graduating soon (even not so soon). Haha...there'll be another two semester to go.

Phewwwwwwwwwwww...i'm so excited. Man, i've been reading laws since the year 2004 until today. In a blink of an eye, i'm almost reaching the end of my undergraduate's life. I keep on telling myself that I can no longer take my studies for granted, like what I did before. I have to study seriously, so that i'll be graduating excellently. I want to be a great lawyer in the near future. So I have to take things seriously. Handle things nicely.

we know, it's not ok to lie (regardless of who we are) hihi... Oh Allah,

I pray that you will always guide me to be your good servant. Oh Allah, shower me with you blessings. Thank you Allah for giving me the opportunity to improve myself. To all friends, let us keep on reminding one another that we have to strive to the fullest. I believe that we are all born to achieve something in our lives. So, let's study harder than before. The Gift: The Perfect Gift

Hi bloggers,
first thing first, my apology for not being able to update my blog during my semester break. (tho i have a lot to say about my break) haha...
well, last weekend i went to the Sunway Pyramid with my sister. We went to Popular Book stores and i glanced through all books there. Suddenly, something caught my eyes!!!
it's a new book from my favourite author, Cecelia Ahern. A book called The Gift.
you guys might be asking why The Gift?
well, i certainly have reasons to give =)
1. it's my favourite author! Cecelia Ahern. (previously,i have read 2 books written by Cecelia; Ps i Love you and Where Rainbow Ends). I fell in love with these two books. Swear God!
2. it's then the cover that caught my attention
3. the title itself...simple yet make me feel curious
4. the synopsis
5. ......yet to know (haha)
i'm indeed want to have a copy of this book so badly. unfortunately, i dont have enough cash to buy it, as for now. the price is RM79.90...
it's okay...i'm hoping that someone will buy me one as my birthday gift =) or i'll buy it on my own (^_^)
Here is the synopsis of this book. (btw, i think that the main character of this book, Lou Suffern, shares few similaries with me. maybe that's the more reason i should read it...haha)
Synopsis:
Step into the magical world of Cecelia Ahern If you could wish for one gift this Christmas, what would it be? Everyday Lou Suffern battled with the clock. He always had two places to be at the same time. He always had two things to do at once. When asleep he dreamed. In between dreams, he ran through the events of the day while making plans for the next. When at home with his wife and family, his mind was always someplace else. On his way into work one early winter morning, Lou meets Gabe, a homeless man sitting outside the office building. Intrigued by him and on discovering that he could also be very useful to have around, Lou gets Gabe a job in the post room. But soon Lou begins to regret helping Gabe. His very presence unsettles Lou and how does Gabe appear to be in two places at the same time? As Christmas draws closer, Lou starts to understand the value of time. He sees what is truly important in life yet at the same time he learns the harshest lesson of all. This is a story about people who not unlike parcels, hide secrets. They cover themselves in layers until the right person unwraps them and discovers what's inside.Sometimes you have to be unravelled in order to find out who you really are. For Lou Suffern, that took time.
