Has anyone of you read something about the 13 phrases for living by Gabriel Garcia Marques? Frankly speaking, I too, do not know who he is.
But, when I read the phrases by him, I think that some of the phrases do make sense. Thus, it makes me keen to write something on the 13 phrases for living by him.
One of my favourite phrases is…“There’ll always be people who will hurt you, so you need to continue trusting, just be careful”.
Well I opine the above phrase to be quite true.
In this life, there are many types of people which we would meet and become our acquaintances be it good or bad. We have to admit, we do expect the people whom we meet and know to be nice and kind to us. We want them to treat us fairly, create happiness in our lives as well as to be with us for better or worse.
Unfortunately, life will not always be the way want it to be. There are always bad people who might ruin our days, lives and whatever we have. It might occur to any of us, that we have met back-stabbing friends, unfaithful lovers so on and so forth.
This kind of people would normally break our trust when we started to begin trusting them, breaking our hearts into pieces, happy to see when we are losing, cheating on us and many others.
Well, we should make our lives as wonderful as we can. Make sure that these kinds of people would not become the hurdles in our lives. Tell ourselves that, in the course of living in this world, we will meet terrific and terrible people. When the bad people do something awful to us, we are supposed to say “Thank God for letting me know that they are not meant to be my acquaintances.”
Apart from that, do not stop from trusting people. We need to trust one another. It’s just we need to learn something from that. We need to be more careful in trusting people. After all, not all people in this world are meant to be with us.
